
Who is responsible for Repairs and Maintenance at The Scene?
If the repair relates to something inside your home then is likely to be your responsibility as a Leaseholder.
If you find a something not working or broken in the communal areas of The Scene then this is the responsibility of the Lessee. SHW will arrange the repair of the items that you find. These items can be reported into the Caretaker or directly to SHW.
Leaseholder
The most commonly queried items which are the Leaseholder responsibility are:
- Plumbing and internal waste pipes up to the Soil Stack
- Underfloor Heating
- HIU – Heat Interface Unit
- Glazing and Windows (handles, hinges, locks)
- Front entrance door
- Balcony decking
- Intercom – Handset and cabling to main panel
- Water supply pipe beyond the meter connection
- This list is not exhaustive, you should always consult your Lease
SHW
Your on-site Caretaker undertakes daily inspections of the buildings and installations at The Scene. They reportsin the maintenance issues each day for them to be rectified as soon as possible.
If there is a repair needed in the Internal Communal Areas | Podium | Facilities | Exterior Building then SHW and The Scene Caretaker will works to resolve the issue.
The most common repairs relate to:
- Communal entrance doors/li>
- Lifts
- Lighting
- Intercom panels
- Fob entry systems
- Vehicle gates
- Roof
- Paving and Flooring
- Communal TV system
Sometimes something may stop working suddenly, if you see something that needs attention then please get in touch.
You can report a maintenance issue in directly to SHW via your SHW Occupier Portal Account.
